our two stroke HPDI 200 and depending on the model operates with mechanical or digital rigging. That means switching from two- to
four-stroke power is easier than ever.
Best Power-to-Weight Ratio
Featuring 2.8L displacement, Variable Camshaft Timing and a responsive 16-valve DOHC powerhead, the F200 maximizes volumetric efficiency to optimize power. This streamlined design combines two-stroke size with four-stroke performance, giving the F200 the best power-to-weight ratio in its class.
A single, electronically controlled throttle valve optimizes airflow through a long-track intake system. Combined with Precision Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection and a lightweight design, these features make the F200 a leader in powerful, efficient performance.
Yamaha equipped the new F200 with Shift Dampener System (SDS™) hardware, making it the first member of the In-Line Four family to feature SDS. An SDS propeller, together with counterbalancing shafts, helps minimize shifting vibration for a quieter, smoother ride.
Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT), standard on the F200, rotates the camshaft timing to improve intake efficiency. This results in quick acceleration, greater torque and impressive midrange punch.
Get more energy out of the In-Line F200’s 50-amp alternator, which provides 13 percent more power than Yamaha’s V6 F200. This accommodates today’s wide variety of on-board electronics.
