Introducing the new I-4 V MAX SHO 115—a chip off the old big block. Its next-gen tech package features a double-overhead cam with four valves per cylinder, improving efficiency, power and midrange torque. So it’s not only the lightest DOHC 115HP four stroke on the water—it’s also Yamaha’s fastest 115. Its compact power is perfect for a range of smaller craft, such as pontoons, skiffs, and inshore flats boats.
The next-gen 1.8L I-4 V MAX SHO 115 features:
At just 377 pounds, the four-stroke, I-4 V MAX SHO 115 is actually 20 pounds lighter than some two-stroke competitors, making it the lightest four-stroke, DOHC, 115-horsepower outboard available.
Exhilarating Top Speed
The I-4 V MAX SHO 115 is Yamaha’s fastest 115 by nearly 4 mph, thanks in part to a knock sensor, a sophisticated Engine Control Module, and an array of sensors to ensure maximum performance under any condition.
It’s 16-valve DOHC four-cylinder design with large intake and exhaust valves improves breathing for more power and midrange torque.
The I-4 V MAX SHO 115 features a 35-amp alternator, providing plenty of power to accommodate a range of on-board electronics.
Mechanical controls support most bass, bay and flats boats, and are compatible with analog, 6Y5 digital or Command Link® gauges.
The 115 is compatible with our new Talon™ SS (SDS™) propeller, which provides smooth shifting and quiet in-gear operation, even when trolling.
