Yamaha Pro Jared Lintner Celebrates 20th Anniversary a Year Late

Ever since the conclusion of the 2016 Bassmaster® Elite season this past September, Yamaha Pros have been spending the off-season in a variety of ways, but none, perhaps, quite like veteran Jared Lintner. The California-based pro and his wife Keri celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary by taking a week-long cruise in the Bahamas.

Yamaha Pro Justin Lucas Wins Potomac River Bassmaster® Elite

Captures win with four-day total of 72 pounds, 14 ounces

Charles County, Md. – August 15, 2016 – Yamaha Pro Justin Lucas finished Sunday’s Bassmaster® Elite tournament with a catch of 19 pounds, 13 ounces to capture the win on the Potomac River with a four-day total of 72 pounds, 14 ounces.  It was the Guntersville, Ala. angler’s second career Elite victory, after winning in 2015 on the Sacramento River in California.

Ice fishing lure in deep rock piles helps Minnesotan to steal win from Dakotan competitors

DEVILS LAKE, North Dakota – July 15, 2016Yamaha Pro Spencer Deutz and his wife, Carley, from Moorhead, Minn. brought in 29.86 pounds to take home the winnings for the final AIM® Weekend Walleye Series at Devils Lake AWWS Warrior Boats Open on Sunday, July 10.

The win was accomplished with their skill and with the use of 7/8-ounce Rapala® Jigging Rap’s® – an increasingly popular lure typically used during the winter – with the husband/wife team fishing deep rock piles for most of the day.

Yamaha Pro Takahiro Omori Wins Bassmaster® Elite on Wheeler Lake

Comes from Behind to Capture Sixth B.A.S.S. Win

DECATUR, Ala., May 2, 2016Yamaha Pro Takahiro Omori of Emory, Texas claimed his sixth Bassmaster® Elite Series win on Sunday, May, 1 on Wheeler Lake. Coming from behind to beat Day 2- and Day 3-leader Dave Lefebre, Omori brought in five bass on the fourth day weighing an impressive 25 pounds, three ounces to capture the win. In addition, he won the Phoenix Boats®Big Bass award for the final day with a bass weighing in at five pounds, 15 ounces. He finished with a four-day total of 81 pounds, six ounces.

Yamaha Pro Randall Tharp Wins Bassmaster® Elite on Bull Shoals/Norfolk

Yamaha Pros Claim Four of Top Five Positions

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark., April 25, 2016Yamaha Pro Randall Tharp of Port St. Joe, Fla. claimed his first Bassmaster® Elite Series win on Sunday, April 24 on Bull Shoals and Norfolk lakes. Keeping a consistent approach across the two lakes during the four-day tournament, Tharp brought in five bass weighing 16 pounds, two ounces on day four of the tournament to claim the win. He finished with a four-day total of 61 pounds, 10 ounces.

Yamaha Pro Todd Faircloth Wins Bassmaster® Elite on Lake St. Clair

Fellow Yamaha Pros Palaniuk and Pipkens Take Second and Fourth

DETROIT, Mich., August 31, 2015Veteran Yamaha Pro Todd Faircloth brought 22 pounds, two ounces of smallmouth to the scales on Sunday, August 30, to win the final Bassmaster® Elite tournament of the 2015 season on Michigan’s Lake St. Clair. The Texas-based angler finished with a four-day total of 84 pounds, seven ounces, outdistancing fellow Yamaha Pro Brandon Palaniuk, who took second with 78 pounds, six ounces.

Yamaha Pro Justin Lucas Wins Bassmaster® Elite on Sacramento River

Yamaha Pros Claim Seven of Top 12 Positions

SACRAMENTO, Calif., May 4, 2015Yamaha Pro Justin Lucas grew up fishing the famed California Delta, and that experience proved invaluable Sunday, May 3.  Re-visiting several favorite spots he had not fished in more than a decade, Lucas brought 16 pounds to the scales the final afternoon to win the Bassmaster® Elite tournament on the Sacramento River.  He finished with a four-day total of 82 pounds, 14 ounces.  Fishing his second season in the Elites after three years on the FLW pro circuit, it is his first tour-level victory.
