Company News Yamaha’s “Reliable Choice Sales Event” Kicks Off New Year with Great Incentives to Purchase New Outboards Posted 1/1/2014 NEW PROMOTION OFFERS CONSUMERS TWO GREAT WAYS TO BUILD ADDITIONAL VALUE WITH PURCHASE OF NEW ELIGIBLE OUTBOARD KENNESAW, Ga., Jan. 1, 2014 — Yamaha Marine Group announced today the “Reliable Choice Sales Event,” a new promotion that offers consumers two great ways to build in additional value with the purchase of a new eligible Yamaha outboard during the first quarter of 2014. “The ‘Reliable Choice Sales Event’ is the perfect way to start the 2014 boat show season,” said Dale Barnes, Division Manager, Marketing, Yamaha Marine Group. “The value added through this promotion is substantial, giving customers even more incentive to buy now and be ready to enjoy their time on the water this spring.” The promotion applies to eligible, new Yamaha 2.5 to 350 horsepower four-stroke outboards and provides the purchasing consumer a choice of either five years of warranty protection (three years of Yamaha Limited Warranty Coverage along with an additional two year Yamaha Extended Service, Y.E.S., plan) or a credit, on select eligible models, of up to $2,000 based on MSRP towards the purchase of goods and/or services available at the authorized participating Yamaha Outboard dealer that sold the outboard at no extra cost to the purchasing consumer. “The Reliable Choice Sales Event” is effective for select eligible new outboards purchased and warranty registered between January 1, 2014 and March 31, 2014.
