Yamaha Appoints Grondzki to Assistant Department Manager

Kennesaw, Ga., June 9, 2011– Yamaha Marine Group announced it has appointed Todd Grondzki to the post of Assistant Department Manager in advertising. His specific role is to maintain and grow Yamaha’s position as the leadership brand in internet, social and direct marketing programs.

“With the demographic changes we are already seeing in our customer base and improvements in technology, we seek to increase our presence and integration in internet and social marketing,” said Frank Wilhelm, Yamaha Marine Group Advertising Manager. “Even baby boom customers are using social media as a tool to keep themselves informed about products and brands they care about. Todd has a strong passion and understanding for new media and is the right person to help us reach these customers.”

In his previous position as Sr. Marketing and Events Coordinator, Grondzki oversaw the development of Yamaha’s presence on Facebook®.  In addition, he played a major role in bringing the smart phone into regular use as a marketing tool at Yamaha Marine Group.

Grondzki led Yamaha’s events marketing planning and execution and has spearheaded retail promotions in recent years. He has worked in various marketing assignments at Yamaha since 2004.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University, where he graduated in 2001.
