Yamaha Appoints New Members to Growing OEM Team

Kennesaw, Ga., March 26, 2012– Yamaha Marine Group announced the appointment of three new members to its expanding OEM sales team, effective today.  

“Our OEM business is experiencing healthy growth, and to accommodate the needs of our boat builder partners, we decided to make some strategic additions to our OEM sales team,” said Mark Tracy, Yamaha Marine Group OEM National Sales Manager.  “Each of these individuals has the skill set and the experience needed to help us improve our customer service experience for our partners. I am proud to have them on the OEM team, and look forward to the success we will achieve together.”

Kim Jarvis will assume the position of Senior OEM Sales and Marketing Coordinator, while Amanda Pope and Matthew LaMarsh will assume the role of OEM Sales and Marketing Coordinator.  In their new positions, all three will work directly with Yamaha OEM regional managers and application engineers, as well as internal departments, to further improve Yamaha’s relationships with OEM customers.  In addition, they will assist in developing marketing plans with boat builders, and they will be responsible for managing their region’s orders and sales data.

Kim Jarvis has spent nearly 11 years with Yamaha and is transferring from Yamaha Marine’s Dealer sales team where she held the position of Regional Sales Coordinator. Jarvis now will report directly to OEM Regional Sales Manager Daniel Osborne.

Amanda Pope, an eight- year Yamaha employee, is transferring to the OEM team from Yamaha Marine’s Sales/Administration/Operations team. She will report directly to OEM Regional Sales Manager Adam Hall.

Matthew LaMarsh is new to the Yamaha team.  He spent the last two years as the sales and service manager at Park Marine’s Cartersville, Ga. location where he was responsible for overseeing all Marina operations.  LaMarsh will report directly to OEM Regional Sales Manager Justin Rupar.
