Yamaha Marine Group Welcomes Kemos and Blosser to 2014 Walleye Pro Team

ANGLER ADDITIONS CONTINUE TO BUILD STRONG TEAM

Kennesaw, Ga., April 09, 2014 – Yamaha Marine Group announced today that anglers Tommy Kemos and Joshua Blosser have joined the 2014 Walleye Yamaha Pro Team. “We are excited to have Tommy and Joshua on the 2014 Walleye team,” said David Ittner, Tournament and Pro Staff Manager, Yamaha Marine Group.

“Tommy is currently ranked eighth in the World Walleye rankings, and Joshua has four Top Ten regional finishes in the last two years, so both anglers have what it takes to join our Pro Staff and we are proud to welcome them to the team.”

Kemos, from Oconomowoc, Wis., has been fishing the professional walleye circuit since 2002, during which time he qualified for 13 championships and posted five Top 10 finishes. Since then he was 2005 Professional Walleye Trail (PWT) Eastern Division champion, 2006 PWT Championship winner and the 2007 Masters Walleye Circuit Green Bay (Wisconsin) champion.

“With background in the technical side of the marine industry I have always been aware of Yamaha’s outstanding longevity and reliability,” said Kemos. “The Yamaha 4.2L 250 Offshore outboard is phenomenal - not only is it the largest displacement engine in its class, it is also the lightest, which is a winning combination when it comes to powering today’s Walleye boats.”

Blosser, from Pardeeville, Wis., grew up fishing with both his father and grandfather and has been fishing professionally since 2004. He is an active member of the National Professional Anglers Association and the AIM Walleye Pro Tour, presented by Yamaha, and currently runs a Skeeter Yamaha package.

“I’m honored to be joining a team with such a professional and outstanding reputation both on and off the water,” said Blosser. “Knowing that I have the best performing and most reliable outboard on the back of my boat lets me focus on fishing – and that peace of mind is what running a Yamaha is all about.”

“Each year we are presented with the opportunity to acquire professional anglers for our team, and this year is another example of that talent and what it means to Team Yamaha. We look forward to another successful year,” said David Ittner.
