Yamaha Marine Modifies Internal Business Structure, Promotes Mark Tracy to General Manager

Kennesaw, Ga., January 23, 2018 – Yamaha Marine Group announced today a newly-formed Marine Power Sales and Marketing team. Mark Tracy, formerly OEM Sales Division Manager, assumed the title of General Manager effective January 8, and now oversees the OEM and Dealer Sales and Marketing divisions for the Marine group.  
 
“Outboards and Marine Rigging and Parts have grown substantially over the last few years, reaching record levels that many of us could not have foreseen,” said Ben Speciale, President, Yamaha Marine Group. “We acquired two new companies in 2017, and plan to expand our U.S. capabilities in product development while increasing support for Yamaha Marine brand initiatives. This change in our structure will help to accommodate for growth by improving inter-division communications and providing faster decision-making processes with in the marine sales and marketing areas.”
 
Mark began his marine industry career at a dealership in West Palm Beach, Fla. Five years later, he joined Yamaha Marine Group as a District Marketing Manager in Los Angeles, Calif. and soon after accepted a District Marketing Manager position back in Fla.  In 2001, Mark was promoted to Eastern Regional Manager, based out of Yamaha Marine’s corporate headquarters in Kennesaw, Ga. He assumed the title of OEM Regional Sales Manager in 2005, and held the position OEM Division Manager from 2008 through January of 2018. In his new role, Mark will be responsible for planning and coordinating the general direction and initiatives of the sales and marketing teams within Yamaha Marine Group.
