Company News Yamaha Promotes Joe Maniscalco to Division Manager, Marine Service Posted 10/6/2014 SUCCEEDS BOB POPIEL IN LEADING FOUR SERVICE TEAMS Kennesaw, Ga., October 6, 2014 – Yamaha Marine Group today announced the promotion of Joe Maniscalco to Division Manager, Marine Service. Maniscalco will lead Yamaha’s Marine Service teams, which include Marine Field Service, Marine Call Center, Marine Technical Training and Business Process, reporting to Dean Burnett, Vice President of Yamaha Marine Group. “We are extremely gratified to appoint Joe to the Division Manager role,” said Burnett. “The Marine Service team touches a large spectrum of Yamaha customers – dealers, technicians and consumers – on a daily basis. With Joe’s competencies, we will continue to grow these customers into Yamaha advocates while developing the potential of our Marine service employees. His leadership will no doubt further strengthen Yamaha’s position as an industry leader.” During his 11-year career at Yamaha, Maniscalco rose from District Service Representative to Senior District Service Representative to Regional Supervisor and most recently, Department Manager for Marine Field Service before assuming the role of Division Manager. Maniscalco began his career in the marine industry at the age of 16 as an apprentice. Prior to joining Yamaha, he worked for several years at a marine-automotive dealership in Wisconsin and later as Shop Foreman and Service Manager at a marine dealership in the Florida panhandle. Maniscalco succeeds Bob Popiel, who retired from Yamaha as Division Manager of Marine Service in June. Yamaha Marine products are marketed throughout the United States and around the world.
