Yamaha Promotes Scott Higgins and Ben Mallett To Align with New Business Needs

Kennesaw, Ga., Dec. 12, 2014 – Yamaha Marine Group today announced the appointment of Scott Higgins as Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest Division and Ben Mallett as Manager of Outboard Operations and Business Planning Departments.

Higgins has worked in sales for Yamaha since 2003 as Regional Sales Coordinator and most recently as District Marketing Manager for part of the southeastern region. In his new role, Higgins will report to John Rigsby, National Sales Manager. Mallett was promoted to Manager of the Outboard Operations and Business Planning Departments.

In his new role, Mallett will provide additional support for key business planning projects and Yamaha Marine’s growing sales structure. Mallett has led both teams as Supervisor for the past three years and will continue to report to Jonathan Burns, Division Manager of Marine Business Planning and Supply Chain Operations Division.
