Siren Marine Announces Major Update to Connected Boat Mobile App, Expanding Personalized Boating Experience
Posted 4/8/2026
KENNESAW, Ga., April 8, 2026 — Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit and Siren Marine today announced a major update to the Siren Connected Boat™ mobile app, delivering a more personalized, intuitive and connected experience for boaters. Powered by an expanding marine IoT ecosystem and deep integration with Yamaha outboards and control systems, the enhanced app puts critical vessel information and controls directly in the hands of users.
The update builds on Siren Marine’s position as a leader in Connected Boat® technology, now supported by more than 30 boat builders offering Siren as standard equipment from the factory, including Yamaha’s new 29-foot jet boat.
“We continue to lead the industry in Connected Boat technology, and this update raises the bar again. This update reflects how we continue to evolve this cutting-edge technology alongside our customers, dealers and boat builder partners,” said Andrew Cullen, Director, Connectivity, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit. “We focused on simplifying the experience, adding practical functionality and making it easier for boaters to stay connected to what matters most.”
The updated Connected Boat mobile app introduces several key enhancements designed to improve usability, engagement and long-term value for boat owners:
Redesigned Onboarding Experience
A modern, intuitive interface simplifies navigation and accelerates setup. The app now identifies and pre-populates a user’s boat, making it easier for customers to get started quickly.
Enhanced Maintenance Recording
A fully redesigned maintenance tracking system delivers a faster, more intuitive workflow with step-by-step guidance. The enhanced experience promotes increased adoption while simplifying the ability for users to log self-performed maintenance, as well as track and manage dealer service history.
Explore Mode Enhancements
A reimagined Explore Mode focuses on education and engagement, helping users better understand Siren’s capabilities and benefits. A new in-app package builder allows customers to customize their Siren systems and seamlessly move toward purchase through sirenmarine.com.
Sport Boat Integration
For the first time, Yamaha’s new 29-foot sport boats include factory-installed Siren 3 technology. Owners can activate their systems immediately and receive a one-year Siren service plan at no cost. The app enables users to monitor vessel location, battery levels and system status, while also expanding capabilities through Siren’s à la carte wireless sensors.
Siren hardware starts at just $299 for the all-new Siren 3 device, with service plans beginning at $18.75 per month.
Dealers nationwide can install Siren 3 Pro and Siren 3 systems. Today, more than 30 boat builders across 35 brands equip new boats with Siren technology.
