Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit Names Miguel Avello Division Manager of Marine Product Management

KENNESAW, Ga. – September 19, 2024 – Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit announced the appointment of Miguel Avello to Division Manager, Marine Product Management. In his new role, Avello leads the Product Management Division, providing strategic direction and oversight of the Marine Product Planning functions. He also works closely with market intelligence, R&D, new product development, product integration, product introduction and product launch teams.

“Miguel has a wealth of knowledge in product development and strategic planning, which will be valuable to the Yamaha team,” said Andrea Tetto, Director, Marine Planning, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit. “His leadership will also help drive innovation and ensure our premium marine products continue to lead the market.”

Prior to joining Yamaha, Miguel served as Director, Engineering and Product Development for Whirlpool Corporation, where he oversaw the planning, design, development and implementation of large-scale projects. He also led the strategic planning and coordination between various engineering disciplines, along with various business functions such as marketing, consumer design, finance, manufacturing, engineering and procurement, incorporating strategic architectural principles to meet both current and future needs.
Miguel reports directly to Andrea Tetto, Director, Marine Planning, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit.
