Yamaha Welcomes New Anglers to 2025 Pro Fishing Team

KENNESAW, Ga.— Jan. 15, 2025 -- Yamaha Marine welcomes anglers Easton Fothergill, Alex Redwine, Tim Dube, Emil Wagner, Luke Palmer, Alex Morrison and Paul Marks, Jr. to the freshwater and saltwater Pro Fishing Teams for 2025. The seven anglers will join current Yamaha Pro Team members to compete in various professional tournament trails across the country. They will represent Yamaha’s premium brand position and serve as ambassadors for the sport of competitive fishing.
“Our Pro Team is made up of anglers who set the standard both on and off the water,” said Connor Megan, Pro Staff and Sponsorship Supervisor, Yamaha Marine Business Unit. “They truly represent Yamaha’s commitment to sportsmanship, conservation and ethics, and we wish them the best of luck as they compete this season.”
Fothergill, named 2024 B.A.S.S.® Open Elite Qualifiers’ Angler of the Year, holds the 2023 Bassmaster® College Classic Bracket championship title and three top 10 Bassmaster® finishes, with two first-place victories. These accomplishments double qualified the Grand Rapids, Minnesota angler for the 2025 Bassmaster Classic® and secured his place in the 2025 Bassmaster Elite Series.
Hailing from Blue Ash, Ohio, Redwine joined the Elite Series in 2021 after finishing third in the 2021 Bassmaster Northern Opens. With 39 tournaments under his belt, he boasts two top 10 finishes and qualified for the 2025 Bassmaster Classic through the 2024 Bassmaster Elite Series.
Second year Elite Series professional, Dube finished second at the 2023 B.A.S.S. Nation Championship on Lake Hartwell and qualified for the 2024 Bassmaster Classic. The New Hampshire native’s career includes a total of 10 tournaments and one classic appearance.
Wagner, a native of Marietta, Georgia, placed in the top nine at the 2024 Opens Elite Qualifier, qualifying him for the Bassmaster Elite Series. He also finished third in the Bassmaster College Team of the Year standings during his junior year. To date, his career includes nine tournaments, with two top-10 finishes and six top-20 placements.
Palmer, now entering his sixth year on the Elite Series, won his first Bassmaster Elite at Santee Cooper Lake in 2023. The Oklahoma angler’s career includes 75 tournaments with five classic appearances, one first place finish, one second place finish, and 11 top 10 placements.
Morrison, named Polaris® Rookie of the Year for the Tackle Warehouse® Invitationals and Fishing Clash® Angler of the Year, has two career wins, 18 top 10 finishes and 39 total tournaments. He also was invited to join the Bass Pro® Tour for 2025, Major League Fishing’s® (MLF) top circuit.
Entering his seventh year with MLF angler Marks, from Cumming, Georgia, has a career that includes 25 tournaments, five wins, and 15 top-10 finishes. He placed in the top nine at the 2024 Opens Elite Qualifier, punching his ticket to the Bassmaster Elite Series. Out of those nine tournaments, Marks finished in the top 10 five times and had one top-20 finish.
