In 2021, a Yamaha pilot program recycled more than 10,000 pounds of sheet plastics from protective boat covers. With your help, we can do even more in 2022!

Help Yamaha Rightwaters make a difference.

There are so many things you can do to help us protect and preserve marine environments. You can participate in marine and shore cleanup events. Or clean, drain and dry your boat after use to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species. Simple acts of stewardship will go a long way in protecting and preserving marine ecosystems.

Cleaning Up Marine Environments

Each year, 8 million metric tons of plastic enter our ocean. And that’s just the plastic. Yamaha Rightwaters is partnering with local environmental groups, organizing community cleanups and investing in technology to remove marine plastic and other debris throughout coastal areas.

Restoring and Creating Marine Habitats

Yamaha Rightwaters partners with environmental groups such as the Coastal Conservation Association to support habitat restoration for marine life. By building and maintaining reef systems throughout the coastal United States, we aim to increase the available habitat needed for a healthy and sustainable marine environment.

Controlling Invasive Species

Invasive marine species like lionfish and carp edge out native species and wreak havoc on a range of marine ecosystems, from coral reefs to the Great Lakes. Yamaha Rightwaters supports efforts to mitigate the damage from invasive species, improving the health and longevity of native marine life.
